Charlotte & Callum’s Autumn Walk Engagement Shoot at Hanbury Woods
Charlotte and Callum had an Autumn dog walk engagement photography session in mind and I knew the perfect spot to make their pre-wedding photography session of dreams a reality. We met at Hanbury woods in Worcestershire and found the most Instagrammable spot filled with crunchy leaves and golden trees.
I always create mood boards when I work with clients, they help me to communicate my vision and ensure that what I’m picturing is inline with what they’re envisioning. When I sent over the board to Charlotte she replied how it looked just like her Pinterest board. I couldn’t wait to get shooting!
Havana, Charlotte and Callum’s gorgeous boy was so excited to join us for the session and I have to say, it was an absolute couples photography session goal for me too!
What instantly struck me about Charlotte and Callum was not just how in love they are but their level of friendship too. They are true best friends! I found it really moving and such a pleasure to photograph. We obviously need to talk about Havana too, he was such a good boy and seemed to relish every opportunity to show off his very best ‘sit’ and stay. It was the first time I’ve waggled a dog toy in a couples session and I hope it’s not the last.
It was such a fantastic way to spend my Saturday morning and couldn’t wait to get home and start editing. The photographs capture our time together perfectly and the Autumn setting and amber warmth of the shots lift my spirits every time I look at them.
I cannot wait to photograph their intimate wedding in April 2021.
