Editorial Portrait Shoot at the University of Birmingham
Jessica Saunders is a UK based new face model who was looking to expand her portfolio for the new year. The Pro Portrait package was the perfect choice to allow us to create a varied collection of shots that would really highlight her versatile look. I couldn’t wait to get started!
I chose the University of Birmingham as our location, there are so many different styles of architecture I knew it would allow us to access varied background really quickly so that we could maximize our shooting time. We were so lucky with the weather, although it was freezing cold, the sun shone, and only towards the end did we have to shelter from rain and ducked into an underground car park for some 90s editorial style Speedlight shots.
Working with Jess was such a dream and her professionalism really shone through, it’s not easy to pose and look relaxed when it’s 4 degrees and you’re not wearing a coat. I really enjoyed how she responded to direction, often running with it and we ended up with so many great shots it was so hard to narrow them down for the final set. Jessica is definitely one to watch and I can’t wait to see her modeling career go from strength to strength.
