Two Portraits Selected by PhotoVogue
Recognition from Vogue Italia’s Curated Platform
I'm thrilled to share that two of my portraits have been selected by PhotoVogue, a prestigious platform curated by Vogue Italia. It celebrates artistic photography from around the world and showcases work from photographers whose images tell a compelling story. To be featured on such a globally respected platform is an honour and a moment I’m genuinely proud of.
Backstage with L’Oréal at a High-Profile Fashion Event
Both portraits were taken during a fashion show where I was photographing for L’Oréal, capturing the quiet confidence of the models just moments before they stepped onto the runway. You can view them over on Vogue’s website: portrait one and portrait two.
The energy backstage at a show like this is unlike anything else. There’s a kind of focused chaos that makes for incredibly striking imagery, with natural light mixing with spotlights, textures clashing and complementing, and fleeting moments of calm just before the noise. While most of my work is centred around weddings and portraits, opportunities like this allow me to bring that same instinct for timing and emotion into a different context.
Why PhotoVogue Selection Matters
PhotoVogue is known for its highly selective standards and its commitment to showcasing photographers with a distinct voice. Every image accepted is handpicked by the editorial team, which makes this recognition all the more meaningful. It’s not just about technical quality, but about perspective and story — both central to how I work.
Blending Editorial Experience into Wedding Photography
If you’d like to see more examples of my editorial work, I’ve curated a selection that highlights the way fashion, emotion and form can come together in a single frame. I also work with brands and businesses looking for clean, confident photography that captures people at their best. You can get in touch via my contact page if you'd like to collaborate.
Whether I'm working at a fashion show or photographing a wedding, my focus is always on creating images that feel personal and full of life.
