Winter Elopement in Bournville
Elopements are not just for far off places and dramatic landscapes. You can elope to the next town and that’s just what Hannah and James did.
Birmingham is a wonderfully varied city and Bournville has a nostalgic charm that is perfect for couples who love historic appeal (and chocolate), the red brick village, founded by Cadburys (yes, Cadburys) and the heart is marked with a stunning green encircled by a manor and a range of churches.
Hannah and James wanted to celebrate in their own way and as lovers of vintage, the couple wore vintage pieces that had been lovingly discovered and styled on the year running up to the day, with dried flowers completing the sustainable vibe.
Following their ceremony we headed to green to capture wedding day portraits that would celebrate their beautifully intimate day and allow family and friends to enjoy the choices they had made for their union.
