Ikon Gallery Portrait Shoot
Ruth Millington is a Birmingham based Art critic and writer and her professional presence spans from social media to national press and TV. The Lifestyle Portrait package was the perfect choice to allow Ruth and I to create a range of imagery that could be used in a variety of professional situations.
IKON gallery and the surrounding Brindley Place made the perfect backdrop for Ruth’s shots and captured the very best of Birmingham’s city-centre landscape. Whilst Ruth was quite nervous at first, it didn’t take long for her to relax with some gentle direction to create s beautiful series of shots. Being able to guide people through portrait sessions is one of my favourite aspects of working with someone; the process of building trust and confidence to create a beautiful and natural set of images.
