Winter Engagement shoot in Digbeth
Mary and Andy knew from the outset that Digbeth’s Custard Factory was their ideal engagement photography session location. Digbeth is Birmingham’s bohemian gem, as a location, it exudes distinctive personality through texture, colour and vibrant atmosphere.
Mary and Andy’s session was so much fun to capture on a cool January day and the variety of backdrops we found as we chatted create such a beautifully varied set that will work beautifully as stand alone shots or displayed on a wall or in a photo album. We were certainly ready for hot cups of tea once we’d wrapped up the session.
“Andy and I were nervous before our photoshoot with Victoria as we generally don’t like to be photographed, but we felt that a practice shoot would help us know what out ‘angles’ were and what to avoid on our wedding day. Victoria made us immediately feel at ease with her laid-back attitude and natural humour, and we settled into the shoot within minutes of being around her. She understood what we wanted (and didn’t want) without being prompted, as she quickly gauged us a couple. She’d even scouted out some great locations for photographs before we arrived, knowing we might prefer more secluded spots. We couldn’t be more pleased with the photographs from the shoot - there’s a real variety of fun and intimate ones. Most importantly, we feel much more confident going into the real thing now with our wedding round the corner. Something that we’d built up to be the most nerve-wracking part of the day for us will now be much more enjoyable. Thank you so much!”
